Shave, wax and/or exfoliate the skin at least 24 hours prior to your appointment
Exfoliate and moisturize your skin frequently in the days leading up to your appointment - Nuda Body Exfoliant or Exfoliating Mitt and Nuda Body Cream are recommended for best results
Do not wear lotions, makeup, perfume, sunscreen or deodorant the day of your appointment
If showering the day of your appointment, please allow at least 3 hours prior to your appointment
During your application, please wear as much or as little as you feel comfortable in; solution will wash out of clothing, however disposable underwear are available if desired
Bring a hair elastic and loose-fitting dark clothing for leaving your appointment
Avoid sweating or contact with water during the development period
No creams or makeup should be applied during the development period
If sleeping in solution, wear pants and long sleeves
Refer to your artist for your recommended development time. It should be at least 8 hours for classic solutions and 1-5 hours for rapids
Once solution has developed, rinse your face and body well until the water runs clear
Use Nuda Body Cream daily to moisturize skin
Avoid products containing mineral oils, petroleum and alcohol as they can affect your results
Mineral based sunscreen should be worn outdoors
Excessive sweating, hot tubs, saunas, etc can cause accelerated fading
Waxing and shaving will strip your tan
Exfoliating skincare products will accelerate fading
7 days after application, exfoliate your skin to ensure your tan fades evenly

Body Sugaring:

Sugaring is an art of hair removal, originating in Ancient Egypt. It uses a pliable paste made from sugar, lemon juice, and water. It is applied and removed by hand, without the use of sticks, strips, or spatulas - minimizing our impact on the environment. Sugaring is gentle on the skin, making it a superior choice for intimate hair removal. We sugar only one area of the body, and we do it well.
*Sugaring cannot be performed if any of the following apply to you:
Taking Accutane or other oral acne medication, Retin A or some antibiotics.
Using prescription cortisone cream or other topical medication (in treatment area).
Using products containing AHAs, Retinol, Glycolic Acid, etc. (in treatment area).
Sunburn, skin infection or other skin irritation (in treatment area).
Before Sugaring:
Hair should be a minimum of ¼ inch in length.
Trimming long hair will make your experience more enjoyable.
Consider purchasing No Scream Cream and applying to the area to be sugared 30-45 minutes prior to your appointment if you have a low pain tolerance.
Sugaring After Care:
It is recommended that you bring clean clothing to wear following your appointment.
Avoid tight clothing over the waxed area for the first 24-48hrs.
If skin feels sensitive or irritated the days following your appointment, you may apply Bushbalm Nude or Sweet Escape Oil to the waxed area.
Avoid lotions containing perfumes or other skin irritants.
Use corn starch baby powder to prevent friction in the freshly waxed area and to absorb perspiration.
Avoid sun exposure for the first 24-48 hours.
Do not exfoliate the freshly waxed area for at least 48-72hrs.
Do not apply deodorant for at least 12-24hrs following an underarm wax.
Use BushBalm's Nordic Dry Brush or Exfoliating Scrubs with Nude or Sweet Escape Oil to prevent ingrown hairs, or Bermuda Oil and Exfoliating Scrub to treat dark spots.
